Sometimes you're just not sure what you've been put on this earth to do and your life doesn't seem all that meaningful or exciting until one day you suddenly realize that you've already been Living......the Good Life.
I write and write and write. I am looking for authors and down-to-earth people who share my interest and can give a novice, like myself, good advice in this exciting but demanding field. Looking forward to hearing from you. God Bless!

Absolute Paradise!
Anyone who's been to Florida knows what I'm talking about. It's Beautiful!! We own a time share down in Ft. Lauderdale. Actually, it's Weston, Florida (about 15 minutes west of Ft. Lauderdale) Vacation Village at Bonaventure. We bought it when we were on our honeymoon 11 years ago. We hadn't been back down there since. We all had a blast!! We went to Disney World one day and Greg got to go deep sea fishing and actually caught something. He was so excited. I, on the other hand, didn't have a very good time. I ended up getting sick and was miserable the whole 4 hours. Greg and I both agreed that we would have never thought I would have gotten sick on a boat. Oh well....one of those things, I guess. But Greg and the boys had a great time which is all that matters. All I was going to do is sit and read a book...ha! I'm not much for fishing.

Another Mojo get together
I'm finally getting caught up with my blogging. I've been a little behind with our trip to Florida, etc. Here are pics of a mini-Mojo get together back in March. What made this one so special is that it was the weekend that we got blasted with all the snow (March 20). Some of the Mojos still came out to meet me since I was already in town for a bridal shower for my niece. Let it be known that a little snow won't keep the Mojos down...haha! It meant a lot to me that they still made it out that night. There were some other friends that were going to meet up with me too, but I told them to go home because they had a much longer drive than the rest of us. But it meant so much to know that they would have tried to come out in that blizzard. I love you all! You mean the world to me. XXXOOO

Puppies...puppies...puppies!!!
Oh my Gosh!! My sister/nieces had the cutes puppies a few weeks ago. Sorry everyone, I think they're all spoken for now. They wanted me to take one home so bad. And I wanted to but my Brandy would be heartbroken if I brought another dog home. She's 15 and has been the "lone" dog queen for all those years. I've been with her longer than I've been with my husband and kids... But I was so tempted. They were so adorable!!

Too cute...

She's all grown up
I can't believe that my oldest niece is getting married in May. It seems like just yesterday I was babysitting her and watching her grow up. She was the spitting image of my sister when she was little. She has grown into a beautiful, intelligent and independent woman and I'm very, very proud of her. She picked a pretty good fiance, too...

The Proper Care...

I am reading a wonderful book right now. A real eye-opener. I highly recommend it. Don't let the title fool you. It is not derogatory. Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a very wise woman and puts it "point-blank" in this book regarding her views on the differences between men and women. Differences that we woman would benefit greatly in taking seriously. As she states in her book, men are "simple creatures"...not simple-minded but simple in respect to "no-fuss" and "no nonsense". All they need is to know that they are providing for their family and making a difference. If you appreciate them, love them, care for them and make them your hero...they will go to the ends of the earth for you. I have a friend that has this approach perfected and she knows who she is. And believe me, her husband will walk through fire for her. And she's a smart, intelligent and sexy woman. She doesn't cow-down to her husband but she knows what he needs and she loves him. How difficult is this to do for the man you love and married. I've learned a lot from her and now I'm learning from Dr. Laura. Go buy the book. You won't regret it!

Is there a living God.....?
"The Heavens Declare the Glory of God"
You ask me how I know it's true
That there is a living God --
A God who rules the universe,
The sky . . . the sea . . . the sod;
A God who holds all creatures
In the hollow of His hand;
A God who put Infinity
In one tiny grain of sand;
A God who made the seasons --
Winter, Summer, Fall and Spring,
And put His flawless rhythm
Into each created thing;
A God who hangs the sun out
Slowly with the break of day,
And gently takes the stars in
And puts the night away;
A God whose mighty handiwork
Defies the skill of man,
For no architect can alter
God's Perfect Master Plan --
What better answers are there
To prove His Holy Being
Than the wonders all around us
That are ours just for the seeing.
